The news drowns on,

filling up with more of a sense of dread,

of anxiety towards the uncertainty

of where the future is going.

Are we falling into decay?

Does it just matter who we talk to on how they answer?

Outside problems, internal faults, constant tug-a-war over “the best” plan of action.

Every person distant, in their own bubbles.

The relationships that matter are the ones you associate yourself with.

That one person knows how to turn around a country that has stretched the brink as far as it can, until the next effort to stretch,

is absurd and naive. It’ll be a process, and all those who truly don’t get along politically need to get over themselves because there are more important things wrong with our country then just two stonewalled Parties.
